If you purchased a home in 2023, be sure to apply for Homestead Exemption. It is a way to save money on your property taxes. You can receive a tax break on your property taxes based on the assessed value of your home or homeowner age. The exemption only applies to your primary Georgia Residence.
The deadline to apply is April 1, 2024. Be sure to apply before April 1st!
